Tribuvan University, Institute of Medicine (IOM) has published the IOM Entrance Exam 2016: Notice for Bachelor Level Entrance Exam for admissions in the medical courses in IOM constituent and affiliated colleges.
The online application for this entrance exam conducted by IOM will begin from 2073 Shrawan 27 (11th Aug.,2016). The application deadline is 18 Bhadra 2073 (3d Sept. 2016). Students have to fill up the online application form from IOM’s official website www.iom.edu.np.

The students should upload the scanned images of bank voucher depositing NRs. 3500/- on “Entrance Exam TU IOM Deans’s Office” account at Himalayan Bank. The bank account number is 00200555570057.
The admit card must be printed out by the students themselves and in case of any mistake in application form, students need to deposit another voucher with application fee and fill up another application form.
Entrance Exam for MBBS and BPH will be held on 25 Bhadra 2073 (10th Sept. 2016) while the entrance examination for other courses will be held on 26 Bhadra 2073 (11th Sept. 2016) at 8am – 10am.
Foreign Students ought to deposit an amount of NRs. 3500 in the above mention bank details within 4th – 9th Sept. 2016. The admit card for the foreign students will be distributed by IT Department of IOM. The bank voucher slip must be presented before collecting the Admit Card by the Foreign Students.
This Entrance Examination conducted by IOM will be basis for the merit list for the scholarship provided by Ministry of Education for TU Medical Colleges.
Minimum Academic Qualification:
For MBBS and BDS – The candidate must have minimum of 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Diploma level with 50% marks obtained each in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
For BNS – The candidate must have minimum of 50% aggregate marks in PCL Nursing with a minimum experience of 1 year in any recognized health organizations.
For other courses – The candidate must have minimum of 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 or PCL level.
