NOTICE

Embassy of India, Kathmandu, invites Online Application from Nepali nationals who desire admission to undergraduate course in Engineering (BE), Pharmacy (B.Pharma), Agriculture (B.Sc. – Ag.), Food Technology (B.Sc. – Food Tech.) and B.Sc. (Nursing) for the Academic Year 2018-19 under COMPEX Scholarship Scheme of the Government of India. The last date of submission of online application is July 30, 2018 (Monday till 11:59 PM).

 A qualifying Computer Based Test (CBT) / Examination to select candidates for these courses will be held in Kathmandu on August 11-12, 2018 (Saturday-Sunday).  Applicants may fill online application form through

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING ONLINE APPLICATIONS

General Instructions:
1. Read the Instructions carefully and select “I Agree” and Press ‘Start’ button to proceed further.
2. For detailed Notification,click here to Download the Detailed Notification.Please read it carefully before filling the on-line application.
3. Only Nepal Nationals fulfilling eligibility criteria can apply for the above seats.
4. Before starting to fill up the on-line application, the candidate should keep at hand the following details/documents:-

  1. His/her educational qualifications as per eligibility criteria (12th passed only) with percentage of marks obtained. Copy of percentage of marks obtained, duly attested by the Principal of the school concerned, may also be uploaded with online Form.
  2. His/her personal details.
  3. Relevant certificates.
  4. Scanned copies of his/her 12th Mark-sheet, percentage of marks obtained & Citizenship Certificate of maximum file size 1000 KB (in jpg/ jpeg/ PDF format )each, scanned photograph (not older than 3 weeks) of maximum file size 80 KB and scanned signature maximum file size 80 KB, in jpg/ jpeg format.
How to Apply:
I. Candidates are required to apply On-line through www.indianembassy.org.np only.
II. Candidates should have a valid personal e-mail ID and mobile number. It should be kept active during the entire process. Registration number, password, and all other important communication will be sent on the same registered e-mail ID (please ensure that email sent to this mailbox is not redirected to your junk / spam folder).
III. Candidates should take utmost care to furnish the correct details while filling in the on-line application. YOU CAN EDIT THE INFORMATION BEFORE SUBMISSION OF STEP-I and STEP-II Once the form is submitted, it can’t be edited.
IV. The step by step process for submitting the application form for the courses as below:
Step-I: Registration of Personal Details, and Contact details. Login Id and password will be sent to you through e-mail on registered e-Mail Id.
Payment: The payment of Application Fee in any branch of the Nepal SBI after Challan Generation after completion of Step-I.
Step-II: Login and Completion of detailed application form after 48 hours from the time the payment done in the Bank to upload photo & signature.
V. Application once submitted cannot be withdrawn and fee once paid will not be refunded in any case, neither shall be held reserved for any other scholarship scheme in future.
STEP-I
a. Candidates agreeing the terms & conditions may apply by clicking ‘I Agree’ Checkbox given below and pressing the ‘Start’ button.
b. The candidate should fill up all the desired information i.e. Personal Details, Qualification Details, Declaration etc. and uploading of certificates correctly.
c. On completion of Step-I, a message will be received on candidate’s registered email id conveying his/her registration and the candidate will be able to download the bank challan to deposit the application fees. The candidate should take a print of the bank challan. This completes the Step-I of on-line registration process.
Depositing Application fee in Nepal SBI
I. The candidate should deposit the requisite application fee of NRs. 400 (Nepali Rupees Four hundred), by presenting the bank challan printed after Step-I to any branch of Nepal State Bank of India on any bank working day. After accepting the application fee, the Bank will return one copy of bank challan to the candidate as a token of receipt. The copy of challan will contain a reference number & date of transaction.
II. Candidates are advised to keep with them the copy of the bank challan as a token of remittance of fee for future reference.
III. Candidates are advised not to attempt for registration more than once. In case of multiple registrations, their candidature is liable for cancellation/rejection without any notice/intimation.
STEP-II
I The candidates who deposited application fee may check and confirm their payment status after 48 hours of deposit of the application fees by using login id and pass word received on the registered email id. The link for completing the remaining sections of the application form such as Uploading of scanned photograph and signature will become active after the confirmation of payment of fees from the Bank. In some cases, it may take more than 48 hours for the Step-II link to be active. In case the candidate has deposited the fees at Bank and he is not able see the confirmation of the payment on website after login even after 48 hours of the deposit of the fees, then he/she should fill in the details in the “Grievance Redressal Form” available in the detailed notifications and send the same by email along with the scanned copy of the paid challan to compex.helpdesk2018@gmail.com. Only on confirmation of payment of fees, candidate will be able to access Step-II of application for completing the application form.
II After depositing the application fee in the Bank, candidate should keep Clear scanned copies of latest photograph, signature for completion of Step-II of registration: In case the face in the photograph and signature is not clear, the candidate’s application is liable to be rejected.
III Instructions regarding scanning of Photograph, Signature: Candidates should upload the scanned (digital) image of their photograph and signature as per the process given below. They should note that only jpeg format is acceptable:i. Photograph Image:

  • Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture on light background (not older than 3 months in JPG or JPEG format only, size limit 80 KB).
  • Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face.

ii. Signature image:

  • The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black ink pen.
  • The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
  • Please scan the signature area only and not the entire page.
  • Size of file should be between 10kb – 20kb.
