The Office of the Controller of Examinations today said preparations to were on to publish the results of School Leaving Certificate exams on schedule. SLC results should be published in three months from the date of the exams. The SLC exams this year were held from March 19 to 27. Bishnu Bahadur Dware, Examination Controller, today said that OCE is working to publish SLC results by June 30.
“We lost a couple of days while shifting our server from the old building after the earthquake,” said Dware. “OCE has already received marks obtained by students in different subjects from across the country. Our officers are entering the data into server,” he said. Dware informed that SLC results of technical stream will be published one week after the results of general stream. OCE is going to use grading system for technical stream this year. According to OCE, a total of 574,685 examinees from both regular and exempted categories appeared in the exams at 1,862 exam centres across the country. Altogether, 212,504 boys and 213,710 girls in regular category, and 59,253 boys and 85,930 girls in exempted category had appeared in the exams. Of the total 3,288 examinees in technical and vocational stream, there were 2,037 boys and 1,251 girls.
