National Examination Board (NEB) is most likely to change the schedule for Grade 11 Examinations – 2074 for the second time because of the Second Phase of local Level Elections scheduled on 31st Jestha. The examination was previously scheduled from 1st Ashar, 2074.
According to the sources, the NEB Examination Board will face difficulties to conduct examination directly after the local level election. One of the official at NEB, Sanothimi said that the official statement has not been published and the scheduled is yet to be confirmed.
NEB currently does not have Chief Examination Controller due to which the uncertainties have increased. Secretary of NEB, Dr. Dilli Rimal has informed that the meetings for this issue will be held within two days and official actions will be taken soon. NEB is further consulting with Election Commission to resolve this issue.
Although the Government has announced the Second Phase of Local Elections to be scheduled on 31st Jestha, NEB is preparing to overcome this deadlock only after having talks with Election Commission. NEB has conducted Grade 12 examination from 10th Baisakh to 22nd Baisakh, 2074.
